Tsunami Relief Project Being Launched
Orangewood Academy and its school community is launching We Want Samoa Toys and Tools Tsunami Relief Project beginning Monday, November 9. We are working in conjunction with the Samoan school community and the American Samoa Mission headquarters to deliver a special Christmas to both young and old. Many people in Samoa are in desperate need of rebuilding tools. Families need to rebuild homes, and do not have hammers, screwdrivers, saws, and nails. Others have to replant and cultivate their land, but they have no shovels, hoes, picks, and rakes. And of course, children are looking forward to a Christmas of uncertainty. We are hoping to deliver toys for Christmas in order to make a tragic situation more bearable for the children. We hope you can help. We will be collecting tools and toys from Monday, the 9th until Friday, November 20th. The tools and toys will be collected on Monday, November 23rd and shipped before the end of that week to ensure it
arrives before Christmas. Please help make this a special Christmas. For more information, please call Orangewood Academy @ 714-534-4694.
