Hoops for Hope
The dreams and efforts of a couple of our special Orangewood Academy students will come to fruition on Monday, March 29, in the school gymnasium.
Bringing Hoops for Hope, a fund-raising activity to benefit AIDS research, to
Orangewood was the brainchild of Jessica Hogsed and Jordan Kalmbach, high-school students at Orangewood.
On March 29, a non-school day, the gymnasium will be filled with Orangewood students donating their time to shoot free-throws. Every basketball launched is raising money for AIDS research.
We commend Jessica and Jordan for their efforts. Come on out and cheer the participating students who will be coming to school on an off day to join this laudable cause
