Our Educational Philosophy

Every student enrolled at Orangewood Academy is a child of God, created in the image of the Almighty, with inherent abilities and talents given by the Creator to attain ultimate success in life.  Every student can achieve high goals and will be given every opportunity possible by his/her teacher to find that level of attainment.  Our education is supported by the four educational pillars of spirituality, scholarship, sportsmanship, and service.  It is the goal of every teacher to instill in every student the qualities of respect, responsibility, courtesy, and grace-- in every situation, and towards all people.  Our education is unapologetically Christ-centered and based on biblical principles gleaned from a Christian world view and an Adventist heritage.  We believe that it is our primary purpose to guide every student into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as we awaken in them a love for learning and the joy of discovery.  The Kingdom of God produces citizens that will positively impact their family, their community, their society, and their world, while preparing them for the soon coming of Jesus and the gift of citizenship in the world to come.
