Victoria Karsten - 5th Grade
Victoria Ermshar Karsten is an alumnae of Orangewood Academy. She was president of her Senior Class.
While at Orangewood, Victoria's mom became handicapped. Victoria was touched by the love and concern that she witnessed from staff and students during this difficult time. This care is what she believes helped keep her in the Adventist Church.
Victoria attended Pacific Union College and Cal State Fullerton. She has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology (Minor in Business). She continued her education at La Sierra University where she earned her denominational credential and state credential. She continued to take classes and completed her Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
Victoria has a love for teaching. Her true passion is to share the love of God with each of her students. She believes in teaching children the "whys" not just the "because it is the way things are." She believes in teaching the whole child. She believes in the importance of the 3 "R's" but also Bible, Physical Education and the Arts.
To Victoria, Orangewood Academy is continuing the legacy of excellence. Victoria still sees the care and concern from the faculty and student body that she experienced in high school. She looks forward to seeing her own children here in such an exceptional school.
She can be reached at VKarsten@OrangewoodAcademy.com or at 714-534-4694 ext. 305.
