Nicole Woltosz - 4th Grade

Nicole Woltosz - 4th Grade

Nicole Woltosz has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Cal Poly Pomona and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Cal State Long Beach. She is currently working on a graduate degree at La Sierra University.

Since 2005, Nicole has taught 4th Grade at Orangewood Academy. Nicole believes education should provide a complete well-balanced character. Education should not only pertain to a particular course of study, but rather should address the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual needs of the student. Education can be one of the most important and influential processes of life. She believes that within one's education, teachers should be training strong witnesses for Christ. Teachers should equip students with the tools to withstand temptation and instill a desire to live for God.

As a teacher, Nicole feels that teaching is one of the highest callings from God. She feels that teachers have an obligation to "teach to the complete character of the person." Nicole states, "We are living in the last days and our students have a particularly difficult journey to take. It is our job to tell them the message of the day. We also should be doing our best to prepare them for this life, to give them life skills and create an excitement to learn about God's creation, and always fill them with a greater hope."

WHY ADVENTIST EDUCATION
To Nicole, there is no other complete education. "God is creator and this world is his creation. No one knows our needs like our maker. We are the remnant and carry the banner through the end of time."

She feels that Adventist Teachers have direct and explicit guidance given to us through the Spirit of Prophecy on how to educate completely to the student. She believes that we have been given the light so we can be witnesses to the world.

Her passions include health education, creating excitement in the classroom for children to learn, and being a source of guidance and confidence for her students.
